Hi Mary Ann!

Just a quick note to thank you for all your hard work on the Cardinal Lane short sale.  There were times when I didn't think we had a chance to get this one closed at all.  When the right offer finally came in, things had to move fast to meet our deadline.  I appreciate your being able to juggle your schedule and get Mara to cover other closings to get this one to the closing table under such a time crunch.

You certainly put a lot of time and energy into this transaction, especially considering the small compensation you earned.  I was amazed that you met with the sellers late in the evening to pre-sign and then drove the package to the cities to meet the deadline on the buyer's end.  You really went above and beyond the call of duty on this transaction.

We always joke that we'll have to celebrate "when we get this one closed".  In this case, we really need to.  As close as we thought we were so many times, it almost feels like a miracle that it all came together and really closed.  I hope you have some time in your schedule next week.  I will call you to schedule a celebration.
